Though this is a
"private web" site, some of our members have allowed us to publish their letters
and photos to encourage the rest of you who are on the "single journey". Many
others preferred to keep the matter private as you can understand. These letters
are addressed to the previous caretaker of Apostolic Friends, Sis. Lynna
Lundsford and myself.

Dear Apostolic Friends,
I just wanted to say thank you for your ministry. Because of Apostolic Singles I am married today. I met a handsome and brilliant man on AS 2 years ago. We were married on December 15, 2006. I would love to share some pics with you of our wedding if I could.

Words of Wisdom...
...Pray for God's will in your life, be patient,
and have high standards when choosing a mate and
DO NOT settle for anything less.
After Bible college and secular college I became
worried that maybe I would never get married. You
see in Apostolic circles single gals age 26 seem
to have a stigma attached to them...or at least I
thought so. BUT...I remembered the wise advice
of one of my professors at IBC, Rev. David Norris,
and encouraged myself not to settle but spend
time becoming all that God wanted me to become.
Honestly, I dedicated my time and energy to
understanding myself before "I got myself married". I
found out what I liked and disliked in a mate. I tied
up loose ends with friends and family. I became a
whole person for the first time in my life.
Then...and ONLY at that point in my life could I
involve someone else to share with me my
life's adventure. I am so glad I waited until I was 28 to
marry. It was God's perfect timing.
I recommend reading "Finding the Love of Your
Life" by Neil Clark Warren, a Christian counselor
and founder of Eharmony.com
God Bless you in your search,

Dear Apostolic Friends,
This is Gabe AKA=Holyghost93 and I have been meaning to write this thank you
letter ever since Claudia AKA=Claudia7 got engaged last year. But now I am
happy to report we recently were married and are very happy and thankful
that God brought us together using your site.
Admittedly we were both very skeptical about using the internet to meet our
soul mate. We also were both a little embarrassed about having to go to the
internet, because both felt we did not have a problem attracting people to
us. But we both realized we were not attracting what we wanted or what God
wanted for us as Holyghost filled Apostolics. At first it was hard to tell
people how we met, because we were sort of embarrassed to say, but God has
dealt with our pride and we don't mind telling people.
I would like to say, for those still looking don't give up, Claudia was not
the first person I met on Apostolic Friends, I met many great people before
her and made some new friends. God then brought Claudia to me and it was a
match made in Heaven! I have attached some photos too.
We can thank you enough for this site, it was the best investment I ever

Greetings in Jesus Name!
Dear Apostolic Friends Admin,
Thank you for the wonderful media and beneficial services you’ve designed and provided to the Apostolic singles at home and abroad. Your ministry and tool that you’ve skillfully provided have been a very special blessing to many.
The intent of my email is to inform you of a great and wonderful work that God performed earlier this year. Words cannot express how delighted I am to share this most awesome blessing of the Lord with you and the members of Apostolic Friends. After much prayer, living in accordance to the will of God and seeking his continued will for our lives, we encountered a once in a lifetime heavenly introduction, which occurred thanks to Apostolic Friends. It been the instrument that God used to introduce and unite Debbie (Logi) and Mike (Mike0113) as dear friends and future husband and wife. We will be married on August 6, 2005.
Please also use this notification as a request to remove our accounts and profiles from the Apostolic Friends database and network. We’ve both enjoyed our experience and appreciate the useful features within the AF database. Thank you for your kindness.
God bless you all!

We want to thank you for the wonderful ministry that you have allowed God to use you in. We are thrilled that there was this opportunity to meet each other, share God's goodness in our lives, develop a Godly relationship, share dreams and visions, and commit our future to one another in the Lord! We are asking to be taken off this website. We sincerely pray God's greatest blessings to everyone. May God give you the desires of your heart as He has done for us!
God bless you abundantly!

I would also like to add my thank you for AF! God Bless you and all those that join and are looking for Godly mates. I had prayed for God's Mate for me for 16 years.
I paid for one month and met a wonderful Apostolic man in WV, Musicman, and we are getting married the end of July. Please remove our profiles from the Website.
Musicman and Kares
I'm writing to request that my profile be removed from the website.
I have greatly enjoyed being a part of this site and have been greatly blessed. I met a wonderful man from this site (jquillen38) and we plan to marry in Late August. We will send you our engagement picture sometime in the near future.

Thank you for providing a wonderful service for Apostolic singles. I was
able to meet a wonderful young lady from Ohio and we are soon going to be
engaged. You are a God send for lonely people. Your service was a blessing.
I was single for a long time and now God has blessed me.
Please delete my profile: jquillen38
Thanks again and keep up the great work.
Bro. Jesse Quillen
Jesus name. I am writing to thank you for your wonderful ministry and to
inform you that you can now remove two names from "Apostolic Friends".
Sis. Kim Pollard from Jacksonville, Fl. and Bro. Ken McDougal Jr. from
Augusta, Ga. We will be getting married on Sunday, Jan 21, 2001 at 2:00
pm. at the Church of Pentecost (Pastor-Rick Olson). We will be living in
Jacksonville and attending the church there. We are very excited about
what The Lord has done and how He has orchestrated this union from the
very beginning. God opened every door and even when circumstances were
changing all around us, The Lord intervened. It had been 19 years for me
to find God's choice for a wife and over 10 years for Sis. Kim since her
husband died. Many times we both thought we'd be single for life, but God
indeed had other plans. We want to encourage anyone out there who thinks
God has forgotten about them to not worry or fret. God has not forgotten
what we need and want. We had to wait a long time, but it was NOT our
timing but God's timing that counts and we are very happy. God Bless you
and this ministry--Bro. Ken McDougal, Jr.
I am so
grateful to you for I have gotten to know you and work with you and I am
with mixed feelings right now. I am happy for my new life but I am sad
because I am leaving Apostolic Friends. I will indeed miss you and a lot
of the people I got to meet over this mailing list. I will continue to
pray for you and this singles ministry for I must give you some of the
credit. God used you to bring me my future husband. I am so happy and we
did a lot of praying to make sure this was of God before we leaped into
anything. I really got a chance to know him and he did me. My pastor and
my church are so happy for us Sister and support our union. I will forward
you pictures of our wedding day as soon as possible. I love you sister and
I hope you and I will keep in touch before we meet in Heaven! God bless!
free to share our letter with Apostolic Friends!

take me off of your women's page. I'm getting married in April 2001 so I
no longer need it...thank you very much!
My name is
I would like to inform you that I met someone through
Apostolic Friends. I contacted him through the Friends
Profiles, we met, and hit it off. We have since,
fallen in love. and we are planning to be married on July 21, of this
year. We both have our profiles on Apostolic Friends. Which may be removed
at this time. As we are no longer in need of having them there. On behalf
of Scott, myself. and our families, we thank you for everything. and for
giving us the chance to meet. And we ask that you along with everyone,

At this time I would like to request that I be removed as a member of
apostolic friends because I have recently gotten engaged and will be
getting married Aug 4., 2001
Thank You, Timothy Allen
I wish to cancel my membership because I am now married to an apostolic
woman and and enjoyed your services. Thank you and God bless you. My name
is Reverend Russell (Rusty) Loper.
I, too, need
to have my membership removed.......I am engaged and will be getting
married June 23, 2001....... I have enjoyed being a member and although I
did not find my mate on this website, I did get reunited with some friends
from my teenage years which has been a very pleasant experience. I also
met some really great people who will remain my friends. Thanks for such
a great website!
Sheri D. Puckett
to let you know I'm getting married so you can
take me off the list.
Please take my name off apostolic friends. I have met the man that God has
for me. We will be getting married April 7th., 2001
Sincerely, Sis Nadine Smith
site really works. I met
and married the a woman on your list and it only
took a year. I married Joanne Lawhorn in on Nov.
18, 2000. I would have wrote sooner to
unsubscribe but I have been real busy and my
access to the internet has become very limited of
late. Thanks for the website and God bless you
I am writing to let you know that hard work for God does not go in vain!
Once again, you get another announcement! (smile) My name is Belinda
Adams and I met Kenneth Van Owen as we were both members of Apostolic
Friends and are now getting married in December of this year.
wanted to let you know and will send a picture as soon as possible and
formally ask for removal from the website then. We both feel so much in
the will of God and when that is certain, it's a wonderful feeling. I
have always been told that no matter how long it takes for God to send you
the one He wants for you....when it happens in His way, it won't matter
anymore how long it took to get you two together. That really is true! I
am so glad that I waited on Him and did not get impatient and take matters
into my own hands and make a mistake! This is too important of a decision
to do that! Thanks to everyone who works so hard on the website your
effort may or may not be seen by all, but God sees it!
Belinda Adams (VanOwen)
I figured it was about time I wrote you and gave you the good news. (Other
than my salvation that is)
Through Apostolic Friends I have met and married the most wonderful
Pentecostal woman. Holly Edwards of Prentiss, Mississippi and I were
married on August 4th 2000 at New Chapel UPC in Collins, Mississippi. We
have decided to make New Chapel UPC our home church. And so far married
life is wonderful.
We met through AF in February, and were married in August. Seems fast, but
the Holy Ghost anointed both of us. I dearly love my new pastor Ron Bohde
his family and the entire church body. I couldn't have asked for a better
Sister Lunsford, May the Lord Jesus richly bless and keep you all of your
days with us.....
Clint W. Brooks
I am requesting that you take my name off of the bio page list. Belinda
and I hit it off right away and are now planning our wedding for Dec. 16,
2000. There is no doubt that God brought us together and we see His
handiwork in our relationship. I would like to thank you for having this
web page for Apostolic singles, as God used it as a tool in my life.
Belinda is everything I could ask for, and it is awesome how the Lord
worked all of this out.
Lynna & Apostolic Friends:

Thank you. :") Feel free to sign our guestbook.
I would like
to request that my Bio be removed from Apostolic Friends. Shortly after
subscribing, God brought a wonderful young woman into my life and we are
now engaged. I never really had the opportunity to fully partake of this
service; however, I'm thankful for the many responses I received and the
people I met through it. Furthermore, kudos to you for providing a much
needed service for a very lonely group of Apostolics. I'm sure it's taxing
at times, but your efforts are greatly appreciated. My userid is bhartun.
May God continue to bless and keep you.
I want to
take this time to thank you so much for Apostolic Friends ministries. For
it was through this avenue that I met a very wonderful and precious lady,
Sis Zoraida Hidalgo. She is the answer to my prayers and for whom I have
waited so long for. Therefore, I am so proud to announce that we are
planning an April wedding!!! (Hallelujah! She said yes and the ring is on
her finger!!!) :o))))))))
respectively, I am requesting that my bio page be taken off the site and
Zoraida will be submitting her request also. However, I am sending a
picture of us that you may use to post elsewhere along with this letter. I
want the whole world to know how happy we are!!!! Once again, thank you
Sis. Lunsford for your ministry! God is truly blessing your efforts and if
possible I would like this poem to accompany this announcement.

the AF onelist. Paul is also from Maine like me. He is a wonderful
christian man and we both know the Lord put us together. We are planning
on getting married soon but we have not set the date yet. :)
I would like
to thank you for all of your hard work that goes into maintaining and
updating this ministry. Surely it must be heartfelt in order for you to
invest so much time and effort. Rev. Michael Watts and I hereby request
that our bio pages be removed from this network. We feel that God is
orchestrating something wonderful in our lives and we are very excited.

wanted to say thank you for allowing me to be on here. It didn't take long
for me to find the man that I had been looking for. Chris Sterrett and I
are getting married on Oct. 16th. I would like to have my bio taken off of
here if you don't mind.
just wanted to make sure that I was not still in the singles section with
pictures and available. God has brought me my wife, not from this web
site, but through mutual friends. Thanks for all your support and during
the single journey. Please remove me from the singles page(s). Again
thanks and have a blessed day!
apreciate it if you would remove my bio page from AF. I have just started
to seriously date someone here in my church..... I appreciate all your
effort and work you have put into AF. I have met a lot of great people
here and have enjoyed it a lot. Thanks,
I am pleased
to announce that on October 16th, 1999, Trish McGhghy and I, Chris
Sterrett will be married by Bro Norman Pasley II in Cincinnati, Ohio. You
and Apostolic Friends will be some of the first people to know beyond our
families and pastors.
Due to this
great blessing from God, Trish and I will be asking that our bio pages be
removed from the singles sight. We will be glad to make a statement about
Apostolic singles for the hall of friends if you would like. It has been
fun and interesting to see all the other singles on the websight and to be
able to interact with them. I enjoyed my time being on there and I am sure
Trish did too. Thank you once again for all that you have done.
Chris Sterrett and Trish McGhghy
I am writing
to you so that I can let you know that i need to be removed from the
Apostolic Friends website. I have found my "perfect gift of God" in a
neighboring church. She is a beautiful saint who loves God, my daughter,
and I think she likes me pretty well too ..... hehehe. I have enjoyed
being a participent in the AF website ministry and I wish you continued
blessings and success for the duration of your efforts to help the Holy
Ghost filled singles of today find their "perfect gift of God."
I have some
good news and some bad news.... The GOOD news is that I got married on
Tuesday September 28, at about 8:30pm in my mother-in-law's house... I am
very happy, my wife is a very wonderful woman...GOD is very good, and as
along as you have the faith, it can and will move mountains...
The BAD news
is that due to my defunct single status, I shall have to remove my name
from the list serve. Fortunately I will keep up with all of my "older"
friends...but I have to let the younger female ones go...(no problem, I
already have a best friend in Jesus and my wife). Unfortunately I will not
be able to read all of the funny, funny christian jokes...
this is a nice wonderful ministry that you have put together here. When I
first signed up, I had just broken up with my fiancee, I knew that this
was the person that GOD had chosen for me (my rib), but I still was very
heartbroken. Since I was single, I decided to apply to the listserver.
Well when I lost my fiancee, I lost my best friend, my spiritual partner,
someone I could have fun with, and someone who could make me smile. In a
little over a month GOD supplied my needs, although it came in the form of
three different people. He gave me someone who could understand what I was
going through, and he gave me someone to help cheer me up, and then he
sent me someone who could help keep me aware of my spirituality (some of
you know how the devil likes to kick and stomp on us when we are down).
All through out I held fast to my faith, and GOD allowed me to see that
things were done for a reason. Now today we are happily married, I
believed, and I held fast to my faith even when it seemed like vapors and
wisps of smoke were all I had, I held fast. I am enjoying a better and
closer walk with GOD, and I have a desire to not just make it, but to make
it with flying colors. I want to be all that I can be in CHRIST and not in
some of us really and truthfully need to seek GOD with all of our hearts,
and no just half. Sometimes we need to do like we say, so that when we say
we are trying to be satisfied with him, or trying to focus on him, we
should instead of keeping our eye open for that special other. It is a lot
easier to say than do. I know... But when I lost interested in all women
(no I am not coming out of the closet) and my interest in GOD increased,
MAN did things begin to happen. And I do know that the devil is a LIAR!!!
that is all, a small testimony... Sister Lynna please remove me from the
listserver when you get the chance. thank you for all of the wonderful
stories and testimonies and jokes my fellow saints!!!
May I abide
in his house forever!!!
remove my name from the Apostolic Singles . Your service is outstanding
but I've made other contacts. God Bless all of your endeavors!
wanted to drop you this little note and let you know that one of my most
sincere prayers has finally been answered. At long last, I have met the
man who God intended for me to marry. His name is Gary Knapp and he is
from Ohio. I am overwhelmed to realize that God remembered my prayers and
is at last making a dream come true. God really is faithful to His
promises. I am grateful for my friends who believed that God hadn't
forgotten that desire of my heart when I'd given up on ever finding
someone who would "wow" me. What can I say? You were right. I was wrong.
Your faith was stubborn - - mine was shaky at times. God really is a
"prayer answering God" ... and He knows exactly the desires of our hearts.
............... I am overwhelmed to realize that God remembered my prayers
and is at last making this dream come true. God really is faithful to His
promises. Our wedding is scheduled for Saturday, October 23, 1999, in
all of your encouragement over the past few months. Your ministry through
the Apostolic Friends web site has been such a blessing to me. May God
richly bless you!!
Jesus' name....at this time I would like to be deleted from the Apostolic
Friends...because the Lord has blessed me with a wonderful man ...and I'm
in love..... It was a great program....and through it...I met my fella....his
best friend was our contact...at Apostolic friends....Thanks for
everything and God bless this ministry!!!!
Lynna, I am proud to let you know that I am getting married this weekend,
so please remove me from your list. I am not a website member and do not
correspond with any other members, but have enjoyed the stories and
funnies that many have sent in. Please unsubscribe me from this listing.
REMOVE MY BIOPAGE PLEASE AND MY NAME BECAUSE I HAVE FOUND THE LOVE OF MY
LIFE ON APOSTOLIC FRIENDS AND WE ARE DOING GREAT.THANKS FOR LETTING ME

remove my page from your list. I have met a wonderful lady and we met in
person. I met her from this web sight. We are planning a wedding in the
near future. We've been talking since April. God bless you for your time
wanting to inform you that a few weeks ago, i began writing to a young
apostolic lady that i met through the free email list. through much prayer
and the Lord's leading, i have come to realize that she is the one meant
for me. It has all happened very quickly, but we both know that God has
ordained this and made this to happen this way. since this is the case, i
am requesting that my bio page be removed from the paid website.
what you are doing in this ministry and i thank God that you were willing
to allow yourself to be used in this manner. i pray that God will give
both you and your husband all that He has in store for you and will lead
the two of you on to greater things in the future.. in Jesus Name,
